QUESTemp 32 – 34 – 36 Area Heat Stress Monitors

Heat Stress MonitorsThe QUESTemp area heat stress monitors are rugged, easy to use devices that allow you to quickly and accurately assess the potential for individuals to experience heat stress.  The instruments feature a dry bulb sensor, a wet bulb sensor with a large water reservoir, and a 2” or 6 “ globe sensor.  All models display a dry bulb, wet bulb, and globe temperature, indoor and outdoor WBGT index, and heat index or humidex.  The QUESTemp 34 and 36 feature a real time clock and data logging with easy data transfer to QuestSuite Professional II Software for graphing and record keeping.  The Model 36 also includes built-in stay time and work/rest regimes based on the ACGIH TLV Handbook, U.S. Navy PHEL Charts, and EPRI Action Limits, and an optional air velocity sensor.  The monitors will operate on 9 volt alkaline, NiMH rechargeable batteries, or from an AC adapter.

QUESTemp Sentinel Fixed Heat Stress System

The QUESTemp° Sentinel Stationary Ambient Heat Stress Monitoring System performs continuous real-timeFixed Heat Stress System surveillance of your facilities and provides your designated personnel with the information they need to promptly and effectively intervene in order to avoid or minimize negative outcomes. The system consists of four major elements:  One or more QUESTemp° 34 or QUESTemp° 36 Thermal Environment Monitors strategically located within the indoor or outdoor area(s) you wish to monitor. NetLink II interface modules to connect each QUESTemp° monitor to your standard Ethernet network.  One instance of QUESTemp° Sentinel Server Software running on a single PC that runs unattended as a web/database server to create a central heat stress information portal. Unlimited instances of QUESTemp° Sentinel Client Software installed on all client PC's that need to access the central heat stress portal.

QUESTemp II Personal Heat Stress Monitor

QuesTemp IIThe QUESTemp II is an easy to use personal heat stress indicator that monitors an individual’s body temperature for indications of the onset of heat stress as part of a managed heat stress program.  THE QUESTemp II is an alerting device that warns the user that their body temperature has risen above a “safe” level and that action should be taken to allow the body to cool.  The QUESTemp II consists of a belt worn module with a flexible cable leading to a small ear mold that contains the sensor and a small speaker for audio alert. The sensing device protrudes from the ear mold and a disposable EAR foam earplug slides over the sensor for inserting into the ear.  An audible warning alerts the user that the sensor has detected a rise in body temperature.
