Contaminated Remains Pouch provides protection from over 300 toxic chemicals and warfare agents.
Kappler’s Contaminated Remains Pouch is designed to hold human remains, which may be contaminated by a wide variety of warfare agents, while providing protection to the personnel that handle it. Constructed of Zytron™, which has shown barrier protection against Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TIC's) and Chemical Warfare Agents(CWA's) including Mustard, Lewisite, Tabun, Sarin and nerve agents, the pouch is strong and easy to handle under demanding conditions.
Features of the Contaminated Remains Pouch include:
- Sewn and hermetically heat-sealed and taped seams to prevent breakthrough
- Gas-tight zipper
- Abrasion-resistant bottom to prevent tears
- Eight heavy-duty carrying straps for easy handling
- Exhaust valve and vent device for use in hyperbaric conditions and to aid in pouch venting
- Fluid-collection reservoir system with a one-gallon absorption capacity
