AS1-CSEK Confined Space Entry Kit
In an effort to make your next confined space entry a safe one, we’ve bundled the three major categories of equipment into a single part number. Simply choose the best fall protection, gas detection and ventilation equipment that fit your needs and your budget. This bundle also includes two sets of Personal Protective Equipment including; hard hat, full body harness, safety glasses and gloves all in a handy duffel bag.
Since every confined space is different, you should make the final determination as to what equipment is necessary. Circumstances may require an emergency escape breathing apparatus and/or communication equipment as well. Whatever you need, we can help.

Fall Protection
Choose the fall protection that meets your need
F1 Option includes:
The base fall protection equipment selection includes MSA’s 8’ Tripod and 50’ Lynx Rescuer™. This grouping includes the bracket to hold the Lynx Rescuer™ on one leg of the tripod and a carabiner/pulley to position the rescue cable at the apex of the tripod. Carrying bags for the tripod and the Lynx Rescuer™ are included along with a training video. This equipment selection meets the criteria for fall protection and a mechanical means of rescue, if required.
F2 option includes:
Includes everything in the F1 selection plus the Lynx Hoist™. The Lynx Hoist™ is needed for spaces without ladder access. It provides for positioning workers and materials into the confined space.

The base gas detection equipment selection includes Rae Systems’ QRAE™ configured for Oxygen/Combustibles/Carbonmonoxide/Hydrogen Sulfide. The QRAE™ comes standard with built-in sample draw pump, rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery and full datalogging functions with ProRAE Suite software. This grouping also includes a cylinder of calibration gas for function tests and calibration. This selection meets the criteria for testing the atmosphere prior to a confined space entry.
G2 Option includes:
PTC2 stands for Pass-Thru Charging and Pass-Thru Calibration. Plug in the case and the meters inside are charging. Onboard calibration cylinders are accessed through a bulkhead fitting allowing for a quick “bump check” or full calibration anywhere you can take the case. Click here for a brochure on the PTC2 Case.

Ventilation
V1 option includes:
The base ventilation equipment selection includes UB20 Ventilator/Exhauster. The fan is powered by 115v AC. The 15’ duct is permanently mounted in a canister that can be attached to either side of the fan for general ventilation or spot exhaust. The canister also affords protection for the duct. This equipment meets the criteria for ventilating or exhausting flammable or toxic gases from a confined space.
V2 option includes:
Includes the same Blower/Exhauster with a 25’ canister-mounted duct.
